20 years of work

There are signs up at work that include me in the group of people who are marking their twentieth anniversary with the company this month. That means I started working in January of 1988. It must have been sometime between recess and Miss Vega's 1st grade class that is.

Brooke White is on American Idol!

Brooke White, last auditioner.

24 yrs old, originally from Az, currently in CA, nanny of twins.

Showing her singing to kids. Very cute.

Simon: you're the last in. What's interesting about you?

Brooke: never seen a rated R movie. Growing up, parents had rules. Telling her whole story of no drinking, no smoking, married for three years. Neither watch R rated moves (Simon: he does 'On his own' "I'll be upstairs in a minute darling, gotta check something on the Internet".)

"Just like a Star" -- she's singing.

Randy: I like you, something pure about you.

Simon: I like you, a little bit "worthy", but we can bring you over to the dark side.

Paula: we all like you.

SHE'S IN
